Print Production Assistant | Sydney

We’re working with an established signage manufacturer that runs a busy, well organised print room. They’re after an experienced Print Production Assistant to join the team.

It’s a hands on role. You’ll be running the printers and laminators, laying up vinyl graphics onto substrates, and making sure every job leaves the print room right the first time. The business runs on clear systems, with KPI boards and regular team meetings, so you’ll always know what’s on and where things are at.

What you’ll be doing

• Running wide format printers through VersaWorks
• Running laminators and rollover lay up tables
• Laying up vinyl and digital prints onto substrates
• Reading artwork and technical drawings to get each job right
• Planning your week so work is finished on schedule
• Working with the rest of the print room team and keeping the scoreboard up to date
• Following safe work practices on the floor

What you’ll need

• 2+ years printing experience with vinyl and digital media
• Experience laying up vinyl graphics to substrates
• Able to read artwork and technical drawings
• Comfortable using VersaWorks and design software
• Mechanically minded, with a good eye for detail
• Happy working on your own without supervision

A Cert III in Signs and Graphics and a car licence are a plus.
