Electrical Estimator | Sydney

We are seeking a commercial estimator with an electrical background to join a small electrical company specialising in commercial, residential, and data spaces.

You will provide costing, estimating, and pricing for ongoing contract service delivery and minor work projects.

This will start as a part-time role; your hours and days will be flexible (2/3 days a week) and you can work from home.

The Role:

• Estimating / pricing for new and existing clients
• Evaluate feasibility of new opportunities, risk, cost control, and review statistical data
• Provide pricing inputs on tenders
• Read drawings and take-offs
• Visit sites when needed
• Deliver contracts over one-off projects
• Report expenses, forecast margins, and financial deliverables
• Negotiate with subcontractors
• Work with different commercial sectors, e.g. offices, retail, education, aged care, government, etc.

What do you need?

• Experience in Electrical services
• Electrical qualification, ideally
• Experience in a similar estimating role or recent graduate
• Must have the right to work in Australia
