Contract Duration: 2-3 months
Role: You will be responsible for daily onsite management, ensuring the successful delivery of all project requirements. This includes overseeing the project scope, managing variations, and handling a two-week defects rectification period following completion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all subcontractor agreements, including scope, budget, and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with development applications, construction certificates, and relevant standards.
- Interpret plans, schedules, and site-specific conditions.
- Oversee site setup, fencing, and security measures.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox meetings, and maintain safety protocols.
- Coordinate trades and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Report daily progress, variations, disputes, and incidents to the Project Manager.
- Handle site deliveries, waste disposal, and environmental compliance.
Qualifications:
- Carpentry Cert III
- Building Cert IV (preferred)
- First Aid (preferred)
- Basic Microsoft Office skills; moderate Microsoft Project skills
Experience:
- Management of projects exceeding $1m
- Strong understanding of plans, specifications, and commercial renovations or civil projects
- Experience coordinating trades and suppliers on large projects
- Communication with Project Managers, Architects, and Clients
