We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly regarded signage company. With a reputation for delivering premium, large-scale signage projects across WA, they’re looking to add an experienced Metal Fabricator to their team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified tradesperson who takes pride in precision, safety, and craftsmanship. You’ll be fabricating large signage frames from steel and aluminium using both MIG and TIG welding techniques. Projects range from complex, large-scale installations to intricate and detailed custom jobs.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Fabricating signage frames using MIG and TIG welding (steel and aluminium)
• Working from detailed shop drawings and specifications
• Problem-solving on technical fabrication challenges
• Collaborating with production and install teams to meet project timelines
• Maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout
What We’re Looking For
• Qualified tradesperson (metal fabrication or similar)
• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding (aluminium and steel)
• Sheetmetal fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings with accuracy
• Skilled in using fabrication tools and workshop machinery
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team player with clear communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive
Bonus Points For
• Forklift ticket and C-Class driver’s licence
• Experience in the signage industry or similar sectors
