Licensed Electrician | Sydney

Hourly Rate: $48-50 per hour + Super + Penalty Rates

Location: Projects across Sydney and further NSW with occasional interstate travel

About the Role:

Our client is seeking experienced Lead Electricians and Electricians to join their team for various projects across Sydney and further NSW, with the possibility of interstate travel. These roles offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for growth, including potential training in Hazardous Area (HA) electrical work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Installations: Perform installations such as EV chargers, switchboard replacements, changeovers, and audits.
  • Site Management (Lead Only): Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, managing the team, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely, and handling documentation, reporting, material ordering, enforcing, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Civil Work: Oversee and ensure the proper installation of conduits and other civil-related aspects of the project, ensuring everything aligns with the electrical requirements.
  • Conduit & Cabling: Pull cables through installed conduits, ensuring efficient electrical connections.
  • Plan Reading & Measurement: Read and interpret plans, take accurate measurements, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Travel: Be willing to travel for projects across NSW and occasionally interstate.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Experience in electrical installations, switchboard replacement, and changeovers.
  • Knowledge of fuel systems and EV charger installations (a bonus).
  • Ability to manage civil-related tasks such as pipework installation and conduit placement.
  • Willingness to learn, including potential training in HA electrical work.
  • Flexibility to travel for project needs, with a company-provided vehicle and fuel card.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid NSW electrical licence.
  • Any electrical background is acceptable as long as you are adaptable and open to learning.
