About the Opportunities:
We are seeking experienced professionals for two roles to join our client’s Queensland team:
Electrical Site Lead
This role involves overseeing various tasks within the electrical field across the commercial and civil sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake installation work on Electric Vehicle Charging Stations and other electrical projects.
- Running the site, contractors, procurement of materials, and interacting with clients and customers.
- Serve as the first point of contact for both technical and strategic operational decisions across the project portfolio.
- Ensure high standards of delivery and safety are met.
- Lead the implementation and verification of HSSE and QA/QC processes throughout the project lifecycle, including documentation and testing.
- Utilise web-based project management systems to manage project close-out and deliverable expectations, with support from the admin team.
- Assist with other portfolios as required, such as maintenance and signage.
- Hazardous area electrical installation when needed.
Electrician
The role involves performing a range of electrical tasks across various projects, including those related to Electric Vehicle Charging Stations and other electrical installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical installation and maintenance work on various projects.
- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with supervisors and clients.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
- Demonstrate technical expertise and problem-solving skills in daily tasks.
Required Skills and Experience:
- QLD Electrical Licence.
- Proven experience in onsite project coordination and management in a similar role (for Site Lead role).
- Ability to manage resources, project scheduling, and subcontractor engagement.
- Proficiency in using web-based programs
- Willingness to travel when required.
Minimum Criteria:
- QLD Electrical Licence.
- Manual driver’s licence.
- Construction White Card.
