Site Manager | Civil Project | Wollongong

Contract Duration: 2-3 months

Role: You will be responsible for daily onsite management, ensuring the successful delivery of all project requirements. This includes overseeing the project scope, managing variations, and handling a two-week defects rectification period following completion.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all subcontractor agreements, including scope, budget, and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with development applications, construction certificates, and relevant standards.
• Interpret plans, schedules, and site-specific conditions.
• Oversee site setup, fencing, and security measures.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox meetings, and maintain safety protocols.
• Coordinate trades and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
• Ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Report daily progress, variations, disputes, and incidents to the Project Manager.
• Handle site deliveries, waste disposal, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications:

• Carpentry Cert III
• Building Cert IV (preferred)
• First Aid (preferred)
• Basic Microsoft Office skills; moderate Microsoft Project skills

Experience:

• Management of projects exceeding $1m
• Strong understanding of plans, specifications, and commercial renovations or civil projects
• Experience coordinating trades and suppliers on large projects
• Communication with Project Managers, Architects, and Clients
