Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Industrial Maintenance Electrician | Brisbane Metro

We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician in Brisbane. The role is a full-time permanent position as an electrical field service technician, with responsibilities including routine services, breakdown repairs, and new installations.

The Role:

• Visiting various sites to perform troubleshooting, identify issues, and service heavy machinery equipment.

• Delivering preventative maintenance tasks according to planned schedules.

• Reviewing task lists and liaising with our technical team to update task statuses.

• Developing relationships with our client’s facilities management team and collaborating with building management and project managers during contract works.

• Working closely with installation teams, including engineers and individuals across all levels of the building and subcontracting industry.

• Providing training on safe operating procedures to new operators.

• Preparing documentation related to workplace health and safety (WHS), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and Quality Assurance (QA).

• Maintaining thorough documentation of all tasks using service management software and completing associated paperwork.

Must have:

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills in automated or PLC-based control systems.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and VSD/VFD issues, including modifying parameters and creating/updating electrical drawings.

• A Grade Electrical License.

• Experience in commercial electrical plant and equipment.

Nice to have:

• Current WHS Card.

• Current clean, unrestricted driver’s license.

• Working at Heights cert.
